Ricke Jenkins is a Sales Engineer at Bardi Heating & Air Conditioning, Inc. (“The climates always right at Bardi”). He serves on the company Leadership Team and is Chairperson of the Bardi Community Fund Committee, the Bardi companies’ employee charitable foundation. A native Atlantan, he has been a part of the Atlanta business community for over 30 years with most of his career being in the sales or business development arena. He describes himself as a people person which is probably why one of his “strengths”, as determined by Strength Finders 2.0, a book and study by Tom Rath, is WOO! A characteristic defined as Wins Others Over.

Ricke has worked middle school age students for 27+ years! He is and has been for the last 12 years been a 6th grade SS teacher. His involvement with young people pre-dates his romance and marriage to his Children’s Pastor wife. He and his Ordained Minister wife, Jill, have been married almost 27 years and have two “practically perfect” children, Maggie, a TFA high school teacher in Orangeburg, SC and Jack, a junior Chemical Engineering student at Georgia Tech.

Ricke sees his deeper involvement with RATL as one of his next’s, as he imagines God’s next phase in his journey. He knows that while God meets us where we are; He loves us too much to just leave us there! In Christ, there is ALWAYS a next!
